My name is Alex Mills-Barton and I live in Seaford , East Sussex, I have been in the RYA Team GBR junior and youth system for the past 6 years.

2011 has been a fantastic year for my sailing and I am currently World number 2 in Laser youth sailing, European Youth Champion, National Youth Champion and one of only four Under 21's in the ISAF top 100 senior rankings. 

I am in Team GBR's Olympic Developement Squad and will be representing my country at the 2011 ISAF World Championships in Perth, Australia.  My ultimate goal is to represent my country at the Olympic Games. 

I sail a Laser which is the mens Olympic class dinghy, Ben Ainslie and Paul Goodison have both won gold medals in the Laser class and I hope to one day follow in their footsteps.
