My name is Alex Mills-Barton and I live in Seaford , East Sussex, I have been in the RYA Team GBR junior, youth and now senior squads since 2005.

2011 was a fantastic year for my sailing and I am currently World number 2 in Laser youth sailing, European Youth Champion, National Youth Champion and recently represented my country at the 2011 ISAF World Championships in Perth Australia. 

I am currently in Team GBR's Olympic Developement Squad, and will be on the water in Weymouth to get a feel of being an Olympian and hopefully watch some of my peers bring home the medals.  

My ultimate goal is to represent my country at the Olympic Games. 

I sail a Laser which is the mens Olympic class dinghy, Ben Ainslie and Paul Goodison have both won gold medals in the Laser class and I hope to one day follow in their footsteps.
